A “super shelter ” is basically a mini greenhouse. The one above is a very nontraditional one, but the concept still applies. When a fire is lit, the heat radiates through the painter’s drop cloth and reflects off the emergency reflective blanket. Then it is trapped in the shelter. This is the warmest shelter you will find. I’ve heated one of thees shelters up to 100 degrees F.
This one is much more traditional. It is based off of a lean-to. If you look closely you can see that it is actually inside another shelter and is built around the bed to keep you warm while sleeping.
